2. Digital Products and Delivery

FlukeFortune sells unique, single-use digital product keys for video game software.

  • Electronic Delivery: There is no physical shipping. All product keys are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout or displayed on the post-purchase webpage.
  • Third-Party Licenses: Each product key includes an underlying software license. This license is subject to your acceptance of third-party terms, including the End User License Agreement (EULA) of the respective software publisher or Digital Rights Management (DRM) platform (e.g., Steam, EA App, Ubisoft Connect).


3. Statutory Right to Cancel (Waiver for Digital Content)

In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. However, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content once delivery has begun.

By purchasing a digital product key from FlukeFortune, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the product key has been disclosed to you (via email or on-screen).

 

4. Refund and Return Policy

Due to the nature of unique, single-use product keys, specific terms apply to digital products that do not apply to physical goods. Once a key has been successfully activated, it is permanently registered to a DRM platform and is void of resale value. Furthermore, any disclosed key is legally treated as "consumed." Therefore, all sales are final.

Refunds will NOT be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Disclosure: The product key has been disclosed to you (e.g., viewed on a webpage or sent via email).
  • Dissatisfaction: You are dissatisfied with the software or video game.
  • System Incompatibility: Your device does not meet the minimum hardware or software requirements.
  • Region/Platform Mismatch: You purchased a key for the wrong region or platform.


5. Defective or Non-Functional Product Keys

If you receive a product key that is genuinely non-functional (e.g., an "invalid" or "already used" error), you must contact us to raise a formal report.

  • Reporting Window: Functional issues must be reported within thirty (30) days of the date of disclosure.
  • Mandatory Evidence: To qualify for a replacement or refund, you must provide:
  1. Clear, unedited screenshot evidence of the error message and your DRM platform library.
  2. Official activation details or verification obtained from the relevant platform support (e.g., Steam Support, EA Help). This verification must confirm the status of the key (e.g., the date/time of activation) to prove it was not activated on your own account.

Resolution: Verified claims will be resolved via a replacement key or a full refund at our discretion.

 

6. Pricing, VAT, and Errors

Prices displayed do not include VAT, which may be applied at checkout based on your location. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders placed for products listed with an incorrect price or erroneous product data.

 

7. Fraud Prevention and Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to decline, refund, or block any customer without prior notice if our security systems flag an order as potentially fraudulent, if we suspect a violation of these Terms, or if there is an exploit of website errors.

 

8. Product Authenticity and Sourcing

We declare that all products available at FlukeFortune are genuine, unused, and legally sourced.

  • Strict Prohibitions: FlukeFortune strictly prohibits the sale of "VPN-restricted", "promotional", or "Steam gifts". Every key is a brand-new retail license intended for standard, region-appropriate activation.
  • Product Sourcing: All product keys are securely sourced via professional B2B supply chains from reliable third-party entertainment wholesalers and distributors. We warrant that every key is intended for standard retail activation, and our commitment to quality is fully backed by clause 5 should any defective or non-functional key be supplied.


9. Intellectual Property & Non-Affiliation

  • FlukeFortune Assets: The FlukeFortune logo (FF logomark) is the exclusive property of FlukeFortune. All rights reserved.
  • Non-Affiliation & Third-Party Assets: FlukeFortune operates solely as an independent third-party reseller. We claim no official affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership with any original software publishers, developers, or their respective entities. All third-party trademarks, logos, and brand names featured on this site (e.g., Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo) are the property of their respective owners and are used strictly under the doctrine of "nominative fair use" for the sole purpose of identifying the digital products being sold.


10. Limitation of Liability

FlukeFortune guarantees the delivery of a functional, genuine product key. Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Software Functionality: As an independent reseller, FlukeFortune is not responsible for the performance, content, or continued functionality of the underlying software. This remains the sole responsibility of the respective developer or publisher.
  • Technical Issues: We are not liable for in-game bugs, crashes, hardware malfunctions, or data loss encountered during the use of the software.
  • Third-Party Actions: We are not liable for actions taken by DRM platforms or publishers, including account bans or the discontinuation of online services.


11. Age Restrictions

By purchasing from FlukeFortune, you confirm that you are of the appropriate legal age in your jurisdiction to purchase and view the content of the software, in accordance with local rating boards (e.g., PEGI, ESRB).

 

12. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole.
