About Way of the Hunter 2

Way of the Hunter 2 expands the series’ deliberate hunting formula with living ecosystems, more dynamic animal behaviour and vast wilderness across North America and Africa.

Released on 29 September 2026, it activates on Steam, natively supports PC. Developed by Nine Rocks Games and published by THQ Nordic. It sits within the Way of the Hunter franchise. Its core mix includes adventure, simulation and shooter.

Track animals through their habitats, study movement and behaviour before taking the shot, and return to Hearth & Hunt Headquarters to build out your trophy collection. Exploration, careful preparation and the occasional dangerous encounter are all part of the hunt.

It carries a PEGI 16 rating and an ESRB T (Teen) classification.
